Dr. Weihua Ding received her Doctor of Optometry degree from New England College of Optometry and her Medical degree (Clinical Medicine) in China. Prior to having her practice in Wellesley, she had worked at Randolph Eye Associates in Randolph MA, Dr. Magalhaes and Associates Inc. in North Attleboro, MA, practicing full scope Optometry.

Dr. Ding is a licensed Therapeutic Optometrist who enjoys caring for patients aged 4+ and adults. She provides Comprehensive Eye Exam, eyeglasses prescribing, Contact Lenses Fitting and Evaluation, Dr. Ding has been a certified Orthokeratologist for Myopia Control.

Dr. Ding has 15 years of experience in managing eye diseases including ocular infections, allergy, autoimmune disorders (i.e. uveitis), dry eyes, ocular foreign body removal, diagnosing and comanaging cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, various retinal disorders, various optic nerve disorders, ocular complications secondary to systemic disease (i.e. diabetic retinopathy, retinal artery/vein occlusion), etc.

For best eye & vision health, prevention and early intervention is the key. Optometrists are on the frontline of eye and vision care. Dr. Ding has been utilizing advanced technology with her strong knowledge and experience, to achieve that goal.

In her spare time, Dr. Ding enjoys spending time with her husband and son. They love hiking and movies.
